Sarah Tuley-Coleman, a classically trained flutist with a DMA (Doctorate of Musical Arts), has a passion for performing outside the expectations of the recital hall.  Based in the Midwest, USA, Sarah writes and performs music that combines flute and electronics that defies the standards of any one genre. 

 

Through her career as a performer, Sarah has built a strong foundation on the concert stage.  From soloing with university symphonies, winning prestigious competitions, and performing with award-winning chamber ensembles, the list of her achievements goes on.  However, outside of the symphony stage, Sarah has carved out a sound all her own. 

 

Under the artist name Pitch On Fire, Sarah’s songs are inspired by themes such as identity, resilience, and perseverance. Through her use of the flute and textured layers of electronics, she creates music that encourages and inspires.
